Security: Two terror suspects arrested, weapons seized

RPO Tariq Masood Yasin said three men managed to escape, but two others had been arrested

MULTAN:

Two terrorists were arrested and a cache of weapons and explosives were seized by Multan police and security agencies in a raid late on Thursday, police said. RPO Tariq Masood Yasin said a police team and law enforcement agencies, had raided a house in Gulshan-i-Mehar Colony. He said the raiding team had been attacked by the occupants of the house as they entered. He said three men managed to escape, but two others had been arrested. He said 11 rifles, 47 pistols, 19 short guns, a stun gun, four daggers, 36 cartridges, three metal detector, nearly 15,000 bullets explosives had been seized.
