Deadly collision: One dead, three wounded in road mishap

MINGORA: At least one person died while three others were wounded when a passenger van collided with a car in Kabal tehsil of Swat on Wednesday. An official of Kabal police told The Express Tribune the incident occurred in Aligrama. “The van was on its way to Kabal from Mingora,” he said. “A woman identified as Badama Bibi died on the spot while one of her relatives was critically injured. The drivers of both vehicles were also wounded.” According to the official, the deceased and injured were shifted to the hospital by locals. Cases have been registered against drivers of both vehicles. Further investigation is under way.
