Hospitality in India is amazing, you feel at home: Fawad Khan
Talking to media, Fawad addressed the ongoing cases of intolerance in India and broke his silence on being targeted by Hindu extremist organisation, Shiv Sena. “I have never faced any issues working in India. The groups that work against Pakistan should be ignored because there are similar groups present in Pakistan too. We as artists should ignore such groups and concentrate on our work,” the Khoobsurat actor said.
Shiv Sena has pledged not to let Fawad and Mahira promote their films in Maharashtra. Mahira will be making her grand Bollywood debut alongside Shah Rukh Khan in Raees which will release on Eid next year. Fawad has already completed shooting for Kapoor and Sons featuring Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt. He will also make a cameo appearance in Karan Johar's next directorial venture Ae Dil Hai Mushkil which features A-listers Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai and Anushka Sharma.
At the event in Peshawar, Fawad also said that he will invite Shah Rukh Khan to visit his hometown. "Peshawar is very beautiful and peaceful, and I will invite Shahrukh Khan to visit his native city," he said.
