hit-and-run: Man killed on road

RAWALPINDI: A 35-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run incident in Pirwadhai area of Rawalpindi. Bilal Ahmed lodged a complaint with the police that a speeding car hit his brother, Shahid Ahmed, while he was crossing a road, and fled. Shahid was taken to the Benazir Bhutto Hospital where the doctors pronounced him dead. Meanwhile, four armed robbers broke into a general store in Khayaban-e-Sir Syed and made away with Rs20,000 in cash, and other valuables. Separate cases have been registered.
