Celebrity sightings: Suit up and look suave
Here’s how some of our favourite celebs packed a punch with the power suit
We spotted a host of style mavens owning suits and taking them to new heights with monotones. They eschewed traditional pant suits, pairing them with interesting pieces. A symbol of equality in the 1900s, women don’t need a suit to prove their standing anymore, but they’re still high on the oomph factor. Borrowing from the boys has never been this much fun. Here’s how some of our favourite celebs packed a punch with the power suit.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
Whiteley showed how to create the perfect fall look with an effortless play on textures with the supermodel’s satin shirt and matching velvet pants. She looked serene in emerald green in this power suit perfect for a festive party. Her loose wavy hair complemented the look and added a playful touch to it.
Celeb sightings of the week: Fabulous in formal
Miranda Kerr
Style setters, take note. Kerr knocked it out of the park in this baby blue pant suit, pairing a bandeau top with a blazer she wore over her shoulders. She’s added a belly strap that accentuated her toned midriff, making it all the more chic. She wore heels in the same colour elongating her already lean and long legs.
Kendall Jenner
Jenner, who has been the face of the Balmain x H&M campaign and queen bee of Olivier Rousteing’s Balmain army, wore harem pants and a blazer from his new collection. She proved harem pants can make a statement, especially when paired with a bare midriff. Her gold accessories added the right amount of dazzle to the ensemble.
Kate Hudson
Hudson graced the red carpet at the BAFTA Britannia Awards in a plunging white suit by Brandon Maxwell. She looked polished and opted for the classic white in a look one can’t go wrong with. Hudson kept her accessories to a bare minimum and carried a plain silver clutch. What a babe.
