PESHAWAR:

IGP Nasir Khan Durrani directed Junior Command course officials to make the best use of their training and confront challenges in a dignified manner. According to a handout, he said this while addressing participants of the first Junior Command course at Central Police Office on Friday.

According to Durrani, the real test of the participants was in the field. The IGP reminded them great responsibility lay on them and the force expected them to deliver high quality command.

“Learning is a continuous process and adopting diagnostic and problem-solving techniques to serve humanity is policing at its zenith,” he said. He also urged participants to take the public into confidence who in turn will cooperate with them and assist them in achieving a safe society.

The three-month-long course was made mandatory for DSPs if they wished to get promoted to the rank of SPs.
