Nargis Fakhri, who works hard to maintain her fit frame, said she won’t gain weight even if a role requires it, reported IANS.

“Gaining or losing weight has more to do with guys than girls. I would like to be more fit, but I don’t think I will put on fat or gain weight for movie roles. I am not going to do that,” the actor shared at the launch of a footwear store in the capital.

Not only did Nargis entertain the audience at the event with a combat training routine, but also tore through the backdrop, revealing the new store to fans and fellow fitness enthusiasts. On what fitness means to her, she said, “I believe that fitness is something that should come as second-nature to everyone because it not only makes you look good but also makes you feel good mentally.”

Trendy hairstyles to sport this season

She sang praises of Bollywood superstars who have aged gracefully and hopes to follow suit. “The men, especially the older ones in the industry, are superb. Look at Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan. They all look so damn good at this age,” she stated, reported India Today. “I mean, I would love to know their secret so I could look this killer at that age.”

The actor of Rockstar fame, who was also part of Bollywood films, such as Madras Cafe, Phata Poster Nikhla Hero, and Hollywood movie Spy, is currently busy shooting for the biopic on former cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin titled Azhar.

Nargis will be seen playing the role of Sangeeta Bijlani, the second wife of Azharuddin. When asked if she has taken tips from the former actor, Nargis shared, “I’m just working on myself and shooting outdoors. I’m not sure about the tips.”
