Murder mystery: Three-year-old found dead on rooftop
Gujjarpura SHO Ishtiaq said that the cause of death would be ascertained after the autopsy report
Body of a three-year-old girl was found lying in Kot Khawaja Saeed on Sunday.
Gujjarpura police said Arfa, the daughter of Hamid, had gone missing from her house late on Saturday night. “Her family could not find her at night. They came to the police and registered a complaint. On Sunday afternoon, they found the body on the roof of one of their neighbours,” police said. The body was then taken to a hospital for post mortem examination. Investigation in charge Hafiz Amin said that there were no visible signs of violence on the body. “There were some bruises. However, those might have resulted from the child trying to scale a wall,” he said. Gujjarpura SHO Ishtiaq said that the cause of death would be ascertained after the autopsy report.
