KARACHI: At least five students were wounded when members of two rival student organisations clashed with each other inside Karachi University on Wednesday evening. Police officials said that there were no casualties as the groups did not use guns. A few students were slightly injured as they used sticks and batons. Mobina Town SHO Zafar Abbas said the clash took place between members of Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba (IJT) and Punjabi Students' Association (PSA). The officer said that the students belonging to PSA were playing cricket when the IJT students came and a fight erupted between them over unknown reasons. A case has yet to be registered.
