Facilitating Affectees: NADRA to help quake victims in K-P

This catastrophe poses a challenge and demands extra efforts and support for the rehabilitation of affected people

ISLAMABAD: On the special direction of Interior Minister Choudhary Nisar Ali Khan, Nadra has announced free of cost duplicate ID cards to those earthquake affectees who have lost their original one across the KP Province in a bid to speed up the government’s efforts for rehabilitation and relief. Nadra’s registration centers in the vicinity have been directed to make special arrangements for providing CNICs on war footing to expand and reinforce federal & provincial governments’ relief activities in a transparent and efficient manner. While instructing the Chairman Nadra, Interior Minister said this catastrophe poses a challenge and demands extra efforts and support for the rehabilitation of affected people. Scores of people have been displaced due to a devastating earthquake across the Province of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa. He said NADRA would make all out efforts to give them a helping hand.
