Exchange of fire: Two ‘gangsters’ shot dea

SSP Fida Hussain said that the alleged gangsters belonged to Baba Ladla group

Two alleged gangsters , Ayub alias Kana and Zeeshan alias Pathan, were killed during an encounter with the law enforcers in Lyari on Monday.


The encounter occurred when police officials were conducting a search operation. The gangsters attacked the law enforcers by resorting to indiscriminate fire in Kalakot, said a police official. After the exchange of fire, the two suspects were killed. The police seized weapons from their possession. Their bodies were taken to Civil hospital.  SSP Fida Hussain said that the alleged gangsters belonged to Baba Ladla group. The officer claimed that the two criminals were wanted in over two dozen cases of target killings, over 50 cases of grenade attacks on political gatherings and crackers attacks for extortion activities.
