A grand convention was held for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf workers in Karak to reorganise the party for upcoming intra-party elections.
Hundreds of workers listed their concerns for the provincial leadership’s notice. Leaders consulted party members regarding appointment of district organisers and deputy organisers.
While addressing the gathering, chief guest and PTI Provincial Organiser Fazal Muhammad Khan said party leaders were making efforts to ensure no errors of the past are repeated again. “Accountability should begin at the grass-roots level. “PTI is constantly evolving and we ensure we do this in a transparent and fair manner,” added Fazal.
Members who participated at the convention include Adviser to CM on Prisons Malik Muhammad Qasim, MPA Gul Sahib Khan, MPA Dina Naz, Karak nazim Umar Daraz Khan, district naib nazim Major Sajjad and others. Fazal will also attend various ceremonies from October 27 to 30 in Charsadda. Many important members from ANP and PPP will join PTI, it was said.
Fazal also expressed solidarity with the victims of the recent earthquake and assured PTI will make every effort for the rehabilitation of those affected by this calamity.
