Agriculture: Workshop to facilitate GAP adoption
The workshop has been organised by NPO in collaboration with the Asian Productivity Organization Japan
ISLAMABAD:
A comprehensive e-learning workshop on ‘Good Agricultural Practice’ (GAP) will be held from November 4 to 6, aiming to enhance participants’ understanding of the benefits and importance of GAP in increasing access of agricultural-food products to international markets. Experts from various countries are scheduled to share their experiences with the participants of the course and help them understand the latest trends in this particular field. The workshop has been organised by National Productivity Organization Pakistan (NPO) in collaboration with the Asian Productivity Organization Japan and is targeted to familiarise participants with the GAP concept, adoption process, and certification methodology. This moot would also review the status of and procedures for benchmarking of National GAP with other internationally recognised GAP standards.
