KARACHI:

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has never talked about the construction of Kalabagh Dam, said PML-N information secretary Senator Mushahidullah Khan on Tuesday, adding that the controversial dam cannot be built without the consensus of all provinces.

Speaking at a press conference at the Karachi Press Club, the senator referred to local government elections and said that the masses will support those parties that will restore peace. He believes that democracy will flourish with the LG elections and said, "Local government election is a test for people of Sindh."

Referring to the ongoing Karachi operation, Khan said that the operation isn't against any political party and it is to fight the terrorists.

He added that a committee has been formed to address the reservations of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement and PML-N will always support the MQM's parliamentary role.
