Indian police issued on Tuesday a notice to cricketer Amit Mishra after a woman registered a complaint of physical assault against him.

The woman has alleged she was assaulted by Mishra when she went to meet him in a hotel room on September 25.

Two days later, she filed the case against the cricketer at Ashok Nagar police station in Bangalore.
