Sector C-16: CDA retrieves around 1,000 kanals

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) with the help of the city administration and police vacated 1,000 kanals of land in Sector C-16 from adverse possession. The land was acquired by the CDA and compensation has already been paid, however, the land was illegally being used by locals for agriculture purpose, said a senior CDA official. The CDA official warned occupants to vacate the land themselves.
