FIA raid: Two men arrested with 55 SIMs

The agency obtains their three-day physical remand for further interrogation

RAWALPINDI: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested two people and seized illegal telephone switchboards from their possession in Rawalpindi. The arrested men, identified as Muhammad Rashid and Suhail Sharif, were arrested and around 55 mobile SIMs and wireless sets were recovered from their possession. According to the FIA officials, the raid was conducted on a tip-off. FIA confiscated the mobile SIMs and other material from their possession and obtained their four-day physical remand for further investigation. In a separate raid, the FIA arrested three people and recovered Rs0.1 million fake currency from their possession. The raid was conducted in a house on 6th Road where the men were residing, a source in the agency told The Express Tribune. The agency obtained their three-day physical remand for further interrogation.
