LAHORE: The Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf Lahore chapter has formed 23 committees to look after campaign for the upcoming local government elections in the city, Lahore organiser Shafqat Mahmood said on Saturday. He was addressing a meeting of women members.  Mahmood urged women members to start a door-to-door campaign to canvass for votes in their union councils. He also asked them to review updated voters’ lists and verify the changes by visiting the households concerned. He said they should also report any irregularities found in the lists. He said women who could not volunteer for field duties should join a complaint cell set up at the party’s Lahore office. He said 50 women would be included in the complaint cell.
