This or that? Parfait at Paris Fashion Week

As the fashionista mixes and matches with finesse, we explore which look we prefer

Known as the undisputed ‘queen’ of Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut is always dressed to impress. The actor turned heads looking regal as ever at the Paris Fashion Week (PFW) this year, for all of fashion’s seasons. Talk about getting it right.

As the fashionista mixes and matches with finesse at both the Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter shows in March and October respectively, we explore which look we prefer.

Spring/Summer 2015



Outfit

Kangana looked nothing less than a queen as she donned an emerald green asymmetrical couture dress. Teaming it up with a round-necked black shrug jacket, the actor looked fabulous in a Jean Pail Gaultier outfit. It seems like the star’s style quotient keeps going higher.

Accessories

She accessorised her look by sporting a pair of printed pointy heels with buckle straps. Looking as stylish as it can get, Kangana added a tinge of oomph to her attire by opting for a bright pink clutch. Carrying an embellished clutch and keeping it simple and classy with a pair of diamond- and emerald-studded earrings, the diva surely knows how to impress the fashion police.

Hair and make-up

The actor wore her curly locks in a neat up-do and kept her make-up minimal but we feel it didn’t do justice to her otherwise sensual look. With minimal eye make-up, one could spot Kangana’s eye bags from afar. Had she opted for a bright lip, it would’ve definitely lifted her overall appeal.

Autumn/Winter 2015



Outfit

Flying the style flag for Bollywood, Kangana wore a flawless outfit at the PFW this month. The actor sizzled at the showcase in a tailored Dior outfit. Pairing two contrasting geometric prints with a belt cinched at the waist that accentuated her curves, she exuded a sizzling appeal. Chic buttons stitched down the middle and the sides of her attire added texture to the outfit.

Accessories

Kangana chose to set out in cat-eyed sunglasses, and toned down her appearance with a simple black Dior bag. Matching checkered hand gloves completed her winter look.

Hair and make-up

A tightly pulled back ponytail was on-point. Trumping her look, Kangana’s pout looked snazzy in an autumnal berry-coloured lipstick, with her look definitely stealing the show.
