Pmdc Polls: Election committee notified
Dr Azhar Mehmood Kayani said the committee has the mandate to hand over the charge to the new council till December 26

After the chief justice nominated former Supreme Court judge (retd) Tariq Pervez as his representative, the federal government has notified an election committee to hold polls of the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC), said a press release issued by the PMDC here on Friday. Parvez has been appointed as the chairman of the election committee of the PMDC while Khashihur Rahman and Dr Abid Farooqi are its members.While talking to the media, PMDC Management Committee Chairperson Dr Azhar Mehmood Kayani said the committee has the mandate to hand over the charge to the new council till December 26. He added that election regulations have been finalised by the authority.
