Newcomer: Dastgir welcomes AGVEN’s entry
Informed the audience that the Kailin group has an asset base of $6 billion with an annual turnover of $6 billion
ISLAMABAD:
Federal Minister for Commerce Khurram Dastgir Khan said that the integration of the economies of China and Pakistan was the joint vision of Chinese President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. Speaking as chief guest at the launch ceremony of AGVEN Private Limited, he highlighted the role of China in the economic development of Pakistan. AGVEN is a Singapore-based company and has fertiliser marketing and distribution operations in Pakistan. Guizhou Kailin Managing Director Holding Liao Hui briefed the audience that the group is the second largest producer of phosphoric fertiliser in China and in 2014 more than half of all imports of DAP fertiliser into Pakistan was sourced from China. She informed the audience that the Kailin group has an asset base of $6 billion with an annual turnover of $6 billion.
