Shot and dismembered: Body shrouded in Pakistani flag found

LOWER KURRAM AGENCY: A body shrouded in a Pakistani flag was found in Shaheedano Dand area of Lower Kurram Agency near the Pak-Afghan border. A note attached to it revealed the victim’s identity and address. He had been shot in the neck and later dismembered with a dagger. The body was that of 25-year-old Ahmad who belonged to the Isaki tribe and resided in Bannu. The note also bore the cell phone number of the victim. The corpse was recovered by the levies forces and shifted to District Headquarters Hospital. A medical examination confirmed a shot to the neck was the case of death. Residents of Bannu often go to Afghanistan to seek employment and use the road through Kurram Agency.
