                                        SIALKOT:

The Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has announced the launch of its own private FM radio channel soon. SCCI President Mansur Ahmed said that the SSCI would be the second after Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) to have its own private FM radio channel. Ahmed said the paperwork was briskly under completion and experts had already increased the pace of work. “This station would be helpful in promoting the unique export culture of Sialkot, besides highlighting the achievements and perturbing problems of the Sialkot exporters at a national level.” He was of the view that radio still remained a reliable source of faster communication and entertainment, especially in rural areas. He further added that SCCI had recently initiated another mega project of establishing Sialkot exporters’ own private airline, ‘Air SIAL’.
