RAWALPINDI:
On the directives of CPO Israr Ahmed Khan Abbasi, Rawalpindi police carried out an operation in the Pirwadhai locality and held seven suspects on Wednesday. According to a police spokesperson, the operation was supervised by SP Potohar in Fauji Colony and its adjoining areas. Seven suspects were held during the operation. Police also questioned 112 persons and searched 74 houses, hotels and motels. Police shifted the arrested persons to police station Pirwadhai for interrogation. Meanwhile, City police on Wednesday also impounded 38 motorbikes due to a lack of documentation. During the general hold up, police also arrested four court absconders while a drug pusher was also arrested, the spokesperson said.
