MUMBAI: Shilpa Shetty said she has started reading scripts to feature in films, but wouldn’t term her potential return as a ‘comeback’, which is how many people generally term it. “It has to be a riveting film for me to do it, something I haven’t done before.  I’m not going to make a comeback like how people term it. I want to do something that would interest me as an actor,” she said.

She added that she wasn’t even considering films but, since her son Viaan is now three-and-a-half and spends more time at school, she has started reading scripts. “The two to three scripts I read were not up to the mark.”

On the genre she’d like to make a comeback with, she said she can’t say as such a script hasn’t been offered to her till now. Shetty, who was present along with her husband Raj Kundra to promote the initiative ‘Walk together to #protectherheart’, stressed the benefits of walking 30 minutes with one’s husband for better health of the heart and personal bonding.

“I’ve always believed that health is wealth.  If there’s ever an opportunity where I can play a catalyst in telling people the same and making a difference to their lives, I would happily do so. This is a great endeavour to protect women’s hearts,” she noted.

Shilpa was last seen in an item number for her own production, Dishkiyaoon, which starred Harman Baweja. Her last substantial performance was Apne in 2007 and has mostly made cameo appearances since then.
