KARACHI: The PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week (PLBW) drew to a close last week, but some of the talent it showcased seems to have left an indelible mark on the fashion memory. Out of the four emerging designers who were part of the Bank Alfalah Rising Talent show from day one, Jeem by Hamza Bokhari rose right to the top. He was announced as the Rising Talent on the closing day of the fashion showcase, according to a press release.
Having hit the right notes with his ‘Ruzzkiy Kukly’ debut bridal collection, Hamza received a cash prize of Rs0.5 million from Aly Mustansir, chief marketing officer of the bank. His range boasted a variety of silhouettes, including organza wrap-arounds over pants and crop tops. Among his stand-out ensembles was a crop top with a coatee, paired with a lehenga and a bag with pink tassels. He also designed a piece inspired by the bank’s brand personality.
