Having hit the right notes with his ‘Ruzzkiy Kukly’ debut bridal collection, Hamza received a cash prize of Rs0.5 million from Aly Mustansir, chief marketing officer of the bank. His range boasted a variety of silhouettes, including organza wrap-arounds over pants and crop tops. Among his stand-out ensembles was a crop top with a coatee, paired with a lehenga and a bag with pink tassels. He also designed a piece inspired by the bank’s brand personality.

Other than Hamza, the Rising Talent section featured Faiza Saqlain, Maheen Taseer and Zarmisha Dar. The winner was selected through a voting process, which included jurors as well as the public. Rising Talents Adnan Sarwar, Mohammad Rizwan, Anwer Ali and Hisham Malik, from the fields of film, cricket and fashion respectively, also graced the occasion and extended their congratulations to Hamza.

The Rising Talent Programme aims at acknowledging, motivating and inspiring upcoming talent in the country and providing them with opportunities to excel. Bank Alfalah has been a supporter of fashion bodies, such as the Fashion Pakistan Council and PFDC.
