Among the hotshots were two ladies who went against the norm. If you think a perfect gown is what makes you impressive on the red carpet then you haven't seen Mahira Khan and Nadia Hussain pulling off suits like a boss.
Here is why we are cheering the two who looked fashion-savvy in monochromatic suits:
Mahira Khan
This fashionista never gets it wrong. Mahira Khan was spotted in a sleek pinstripe Republic Women’s Wear suit. The well-tailored blazer was paired with a white V-neck blouse perfectly tucked into structured pants. It’s a solid reminder that these 70s flare can appear as elegant as flowy gowns.
Mahira slung her blazer over one shoulder as she struck a pose, proving why her fashion game is better than the rest.
We can’t get enough of her sophisticated style as the Bin Roye actress paired her luxe tailoring with Gucci pointed stilettos. She opted for sleek, side-parted, straight hair. Mahira nailed it yet again with a simple eyeliner, bold red lips and minimal contouring.
Without accessorising much, Mahira chose to make a statement with one dangling earring. She always swears by the rule, less is more. All in all, this is undeniably one hot look to sport in your next fancy soirees.
Nadia Hussain
The model looked svelte in H&M. All you need to stylishly pull off a suit is the perfect fit and Nadia gets it right. She paired her slim-fit blazer with pencil cut slacks and crisp white button-down shirt.
Nadia carried herself with aplomb by wearing black peep toe heels. She also dabbled with her hair, trying to keep it safe yet fancy. However, the messy side bun did not complimenting her formal look. She wore a thick liner and sheer highlighter. We guess it’s all about bold lips this season since the model also sported red lip colour.
Nadia kept her ensemble tasteful without any accessories. Overall, her look is quite formal to be carried at local gatherings but all the professionals can definitely pull it off during their boardroom meetings (minus the hair).
We believe Mahira has taken the lead this time as her edgy style can be carried both formally and casually. What do you think?
