Foul Play Alleged: Woman succumbs to injuries

KARAK/ LAHORE/ DI KHAN: Police said on Saturday that a 35-year-old woman who was recently injured in a fire had succumbed to her injuries at a hospital. Officials said Fatima Bibi, the deceased, was married to Faisalabad resident Awais who worked in Dubai. Police said she used to live with her in-laws in Faisalabad. Officials said she had been injured in a fire a few days ago. Police said the cause of the fire had not been ascertained. She had later been shifted to Mayo Hospital. Police said the deceased had informed officials that she was injured in an accidental fire. Officials said the relatives of the deceased, on the other hand, had told police that her in-laws burnt her. Police said they were waiting for her husband to return from the United Arab Emirates to proceed with the matter.
