KARACHI:

Lahore City Cricket Association (LCCA) President Nadeem Ahmed on Friday took notice of the poor performance of both the regional teams of Lahore in the recently concluded National T20 Cup played in Rawalpindi.

Lahore White and Lahore Blue were participating in the event, where the latter were unable to qualify for the main round after losing to Bahawalpur in the semi-final of the qualifying round.

Meanwhile, despite boasting national players in their ranks, Lahore White won only two matches out of their five fixtures in the main round and finished last in their group.

Ahmed has called up the managers of both teams to discuss reasons for the two outfits’ questionable form, considering that Lahore were runners-up in the last edition.
