Restaurant owner killed in Karachi

Khan was shot dead outside his restaurant by unidentified gunmen.

KARACHI: Gunmen killed a pro-government tribesman in the southern city of Karachi, police said.

Qadir Khan, a resident of South Waziristan, had helped security forces fight al Qaeda-linked militants in the rugged mountainous region before moving to Karachi, where he had set up a restaurant.

Khan was at his restaurant when he was shot dead by unknown gunmen.
