Targeted attack: Two traffic policemen shot

KARACHI: In a fourth such incident, two traffic policemen were wounded in a targeted attack on Monday. The incident occurred on Mai Kolachi Road when two traffic police officials — sub-inspector Omar Hayat and assistant sub inspector Jumma — were on routine duty. At least two armed men riding a motorcycle opened indiscriminate fire at them before fleeing. They were injured and rushed to Civil hospital. This was the fourth incident to have occurred in a city even though the traffic police have already been provided weapons to protect themselves.
