Speaking to The Express Tribune, officials in Peshawar confirmed "12 to 15 people" were killed in airstrikes.

However, officials in political administration in Waziristan said the toll was 17, adding that a number of hideouts were targeted in Zway Narai and Gorbal areas of Shawal’s mountainous region.

The security forces are engaged in Operation Zarb-e-Azab against militants in FATA since June 15, 2014.

Azi | 9 years ago | Reply @Curious: "officials in Peshawar confirmed". Do you have a habit of skipping the article and just reading the headlines? What else do you want? Your family members counting the death toll because they are more trust worthy? Maybe you should concentrate towards being more thankful that these scum are still at bay because of the airstrikes.
