'Sorry to disappoint': Anuskha dismisses Sultan rumours

Actress denies rumours of starring alongside Salman Khan in his next film

Anushka Sharma has dismissed rumours of starring alongside Salman Khan in Sultan, while saying she is "sorry to disappoint" her fans.

The NH10 actress -- who is currently shooting in London for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil -- took to Twitter to clarify the reports that have been making rounds on social media.

She said: "Here i'm busy shooting & I read that my next film is sultan! News to me guys..sorry to disappoint".

She further said: "I am always supposedly doing more films than the ones I am actually committed to doing! Strange!".

Anushka will next be seen in Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil alongside Ranbir Kapoor.

Meanwhile Salman Khan -- who will be playing the role of a wrestler in Sultan -- is currently having a tough time building up.

In a recent interview, Salman was quoted as saying, “Sultan is going to be a really stressful film. I have to put on a lot of weight. A muscular and toned body is a must. It is an action film," reports Hindustan Times.

The Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor will be undergoing rigorous training and will have to follow a strict regimen in order to beef up for his character.

An insider revealed that the makers of Sultan will only begin the shoot once Salman has the appropriate physique.
