
When she was asked if she thinks her stardom would help Ranbir overcome his career's low phase in upcoming film.
She smiled and said: “I believe that everyone who comes on board contributes equally to the success or failure of a film. Ranbir is a huge star. Everyone has their ups and downs through their career. I don't think I am anyone to comment on what he has been through."

B-Town heartthrob Ranbir has seen better days. His previous films; Besharam, Roy and his last venture Bombay Velvet, failed to be a success and bombed at the box office.
While refusing to comment on Ranbir's work, Deepika spoke fondly of Tamasha, directed by Imtiaz Ali.

"Tamasha is a very special film for all of us. We have all worked individually in a different capacity. I have done Love Aaj Kal with Imtiaz, Ranbir and Imtiaz worked together in Rockstar and Ranbir and I co-starred in Bachna Ae Haseeno and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.

"Inspite of that, we are very good friends and it was always a dream for me to work with this team," she added.

Talking about the expectation from the film, Deepika stated: “If it does well, we all will be equally responsible and if not, then also we all be equally responsible."
The trailer of Tamasha is set to release on September 22, and the film will release on November 27.

Meanwhile, Deepika's energy has been focused towards upcoming film Bajirao Mastani, she calims to be completely absorbed by the film because it is "physically, emotionally and mentally" demanding.
The actress will be sharing screen space with beau Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra.
