ISLAMABAD: Women bear the consequences of conflicts, including torture, sexual harassment, family separation, disappearance, displacement and consequently suffer lifelong social and psychological trauma. Therefore women have special needs and vulnerabilities that need to be considered in any context, but particularly during and after a conflict.
