Crushed: Coal miner killed in Nowshera

PABBI: A miner was trapped and killed when portions of a coalmine collapsed on him on Friday night. Safdar, the owner of the mine, told The Express Tribune that Niaz Muhammad, a resident of Shangla, was working inside the mine in Cherat, Nowshera. He added the other workers pulled him out of the debris. He was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, Safdar added. The owner of the mine said they have sent the body of the victim to his native village.
