Would like to romance Shah Rukh and Salman on-screen, says Athiya Shetty

B-Town newcomer Athiya Shetty, daughter of Bollywood actor Sunil Shetty, is making her debut in the Indian cinema with upcoming film Hero. And the young star is already keen to work with the Khans and is waiting for an opportunity to romance them on the big screen, reported India Today

Athiya is keen to romance superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan on the big screen. Despite many young actors now taking the forefront, the Khans still remain the biggest crowd pullers to any film and neither actor seems to be in any mood of slowing down. Salman is still flying high with the biggest blockbuster of the year till now, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and has several films lined up. Shah Rukh is busy with wrapping up Rohit Shetty's Dilwale and is ready with two more projects, Fan and Raees.

Athiya, told PTI, "I don't know when I would get the opportunity to work with the Khans. But whenever the opportunity comes, I will grab it. If I get the chance to romance the Khans, then why not?"

Athiya is a big fan of SRK. She spoke about her encounter with the star on the sets of Farah Khan's Main Hoon Na, in which Shah Rukh played the lead and Sunil played the antagonist.

"They are all superstars. I remember meeting Shah Rukh Khan sir on the sets of Main Hoon Naa and I am a huge fan of his. He is an amazing person. He showed me the entire set. I had a nice time. It is a memory I will cherish," Athiya said.

She also said that she would love to do a film with her father, but no offer has come up yet.

Athiya is making her debut with Sooraj Pancholi in Nikhil Advani's upcoming romantic-action venture Hero. The film is a remake of Subhash Ghai's 1983 drama of the same name.
