
Jeremy Renner -- who is portraying Hawkeye -- exclusively revealed that he will be on Captain America's side at the Wizard World Comic-Con in Chicago, reports Aceshowbiz.
The actor said it made sense to him to be in The First Avenger team. "I don't know, they wrote me in that side. It made sense to me." Realising his slip, he quickly joked, "Maybe I switched sides!"

Soon after he revealed his character in the upcoming film -- Renner took it to Twitter to share the concept art for the film which tells where the Marvel superheroes such as Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) belong.

As the concept art suggests, Black Widow, Black Panther, War Machine (Don Cheadle) and the Vision (Paul Bettany) are in the team Iron Man/Tony Stark -- Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), Sharon Carter/Agent 13 (Emily VanCamp), Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Winter Soldier/Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) can be seen siding Captain America/Steve Rogers (Chris Evans).

The film will be helmed by the Russo Brothers and will pick up where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off. The Civil War also features other actors including Martin Freeman, Frank Grillo, Daniel Bruhl, Tom Holland, Elizabeth Olsen and William Hurt.
The film is slated to be released on May 6, 2016.
