Motive unknown: Man gunned down in Timergara

TIMERGARA: A man was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Geero Rehanpur village in Balambat, Timergara. A police official told The Express Tribune, Muhammad Irshad, son of Baseer Khan, was gunned down while he was sleeping at his house within the jurisdiction of Balambat police station. The assailants managed to escape after committing the crime. “The motive for the killing remains unknown,” the official said. “However, Irshad was wanted by the police for kidnapping a woman and was on the run.” Police have registered an FIR against the incident and has started investigation.
