KARACHI: Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar on Thursday directed strict action against elements involved in issuance of forged CNICs and passports.
During his meeting with provincial heads of NADRA, Directorate General of Immigration & Passports and FIA Sindh in Karachi he said that no corrupt element will be tolerated in these important offices. The interior minister directed FIA to remain in close co-ordination with NADRA and passport cell heads to take immediate action on the reports of any irregularity.
Talking about various issues faced by the general public, interior minister directed provincial heads of NADRA and passport cell to take urgent measures to redress public complaints and grievances in the entire province, especially in Karachi.
Nisar directed that new offices should be set up to save people from the inconvenience of long queues.
