Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf members have demanded the release of their party’s Bara president who was arrested over two weeks ago.
A large number of PTI members from Khyber Agency gathered outside Peshawar Press Club on Thursday to voice their objections over the failure to release Abid Afridi.
Protesters held banners and placards and shouted slogans against the government and security forces. They urged the government to release Abid within the next 24 hours. Addressing protesters, Iqbal Afridi, a PTI member from Bara, said Abid was arrested 16 days ago from Cantt, Peshawar.
