LAHORE: The road connecting Canal Road near Jinnah Hospital to Allama Iqbal Town’s Karim Block might be named after the slain Home Minister Shuja Khanzada, a city government officer said on Wednesday. He said Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif had asked the district administration to propose a road or a junction that should be named after Khanzada who had died in a suicide attack in Attock on Sunday. He said the road had been built recently; it has yet to be [formally] opened. He said it was likely that the chief minister would agree to naming the road after the late minister. “It might be named Shaheed Col (r) Shuja Khanzada Road.”
