Quality Check : Over 50 milk shops fined

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Administration has fined 54 milk shops after laboratory tests found their samples below standard. The administration had collected samples from 68 milk shops operating in various markets of Islamabad. The laboratory tests found 54 samples of milk and yoghurt sub-standard and unhygienic. The administration has imposed fines on these shops. ICT inspection teams have submitted the charge-sheets in the courts of assistant commissioners. ICT Deputy Director Food Muhammad Afzal said the campaign against sub-standard food outlets would continue.
