They were planning to target a public place on Independence Day
PESHAWAR:
Capital City police foiled a major terror bid and arrested two militants from Pakha Ghulam village on Friday. Talking to the Express Tribune, SSP Operations Dr Mian Saeed said the special operation unit raided a house and arrested the militants who are members of banned outfits. “At least 30 hand grenades, concealed in two jackets, were recovered from their possession. They were planning to target a public place on Independence Day,” he said. Saeed said both have been shifted to an undisclosed location for further interrogation.
