ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has postponed the degree verification process of employees after verifying credentials of some officials.

According to an official, the process has been paused indefinitely after some ‘big fish’ pressured them.

The Ministry of Capital Administration and Development Division had constituted a special committee to oversee the process.

Soon after the committee was formed, many CDA employees published advertisements claiming their degrees have been misplaced. The verification was necessitated after news of appointments on dubious credentials surfaced in the past.
