Disciplinary action: Police constable suspended

The IGP had ordered the DIG to investigate the matter

PESHAWAR: IGP Nasir Khan Durrani suspended a constable of Pahirpura police station, Asif Khan, on charges of corruption and having links with drug dealers in the area. A Paharipura resident had filed a complaint against Asif earlier. The IGP had ordered the DIG to investigate the matter. After the charges were proved against Asif, he was suspended with immediate effect. Further departmental action has also been advised.
