The singer has also given hit songs like Kabhi To Nazar Milao and Lift Karaa De.
He's not the only one who had an alternate career planned, Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan wanted to be a software engineer initially.
King Khan told Google’s new CEO Sundar Pichai last October that he had always wanted to be a software engineer, not an actor, NDTV reported.
The two met at Googleplex where they participated in a 30-minute chat during the promotional tour of Farah Khan’s Happy New Year last year. The star revealed that he was, in fact, very good at numbers. “No, really. I look stupid but I’m not, I’m really intelligent. I did electronics and got 98. Those were the days of diodes and triodes, not chips and things.”

King Khan even danced with the Google flash mob on the songIndiawale from Happy New Year. Interestingly, during the chat, Pichai told SRK to let him know if he ever wanted to switch careers.
Pichai, 43, was named chief executive officer of the internet titan on Monday, as Google unveiled a new corporate structure creating an umbrella company dubbed Alphabet. He will oversee the biggest company under that umbrella, which will still be called Google and will continue to include some of its household products, including its search engine, ads, maps, apps, YouTube and Android system.
