LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board Governing Board has approved central contracts for the women’s team as well to increase the stipend paid out by the board to former players after they reach 60.

The practice was initiated in the reign of Dr Nasim Ashraf, a former chairman, as the scope of the pension scheme was restricted and was divided into categories on various values.

After lengthy discussions, the meeting also agreed the accounts for the previous financial year. As per the agenda, a “post facto approval” was also given to the Terms of Reference for the Integrity Committee.
