Awaiting justice: KU unions demand justice for Yasir Rizvi

KARACHI: Various teachers’ organisations of Karachi University and Karachi Union of Journalists have demanded Chief Minister (CM) Syed Qaim Ali Shah to check the progress in the murder case and the compensation that Late Prof Dr Waheedur Rehman alias Dr Yasir Rizvi’s family was to receive. In the press statement, they urged the government to give due attention as the compensation that Dr Yasir’s family was to be given is late. Dr Yasir was killed four months ago when unidentified armed men opened fired on his car in Federal B Area. They said that his family, students and colleagues are still waiting for justice and demanded the CM to arrest the murderers.
