DI KHAN:

A Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader in DI Khan has decided to jump ship and join Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.

Malik Amanullah Khan announced his decision during a public meeting held in DI Khan on Tuesday. A large number of PML-N office-bearers, including the party’s DI Khan president, Rehan Malik Rodikhel, were present on the occasion.

During the meeting, Amanullah voiced his disappointment over the PTI government’s performance since 2013.

“Most ministers and MPAs are involved in nepotism and make decisions on the basis of their own likes and dislikes,” he said. “I am optimistic that under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, PML-N will steer the country out of its current predicament.”

Amanullah lauded fate-changing projects like China Pakistan Economic Corridor, saying it will lead to prosperity and stability in the country. Hailing from Bagwani area of Paharpur tehsil, Amanullah had been affiliated with PTI for a long time. According to insiders, his defection to PML-N will deal a critical blow to PTI.
